My son, Austin Taft is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I am often amazed at the breadth of his talent, his intellect, and his kindness as a human being. He's contributed his musical talents with me on several theatre productions and he's showcased his talents in the video gaming industry and even on an independent film. I'll also note that the album/CD cover art has been created by his brother, Aaron.

 

Most of his musical work is created in his studio where he writes, records and masters each composition. He plays all of the instruments and arranges each song as well. His musical interests are quite varied and his most recent album is titled, "Skeletons" and is described as "Prog-Metal-That-Sometimes-Isn't" and has been released by the independent label Triple Edge Records. It joins his previous mostly acoustic album, "The Human Condition", the full-length electric release, "War of the Songs of Light Against the Songs of Darkness" and two additional releases to weave a consistent tapestry of eclectic and deeply challenging music.
